New Features
● We’ve got a shiny new icon! We hope it better reflects what our players would expect from a word game.
● We’ve also given the default theme a refresh: now it’s got that classic, tiled word game vibe.
● For all the fans of the old-school Words in Progress default theme, don’t worry! We’ve added it back as the 'Classic Red' theme. Enjoy!
Wordlist Changes
● All words requested by players have been reviewed and, if found to be suitable for all ages and valid, added to our word lists. Thank you to everyone who gave us feedback!
Quality of Life Improvements
● Added a highlight state to the drop box for keyboard and controller interaction for specific drop box states. This way the player has a better indication of where their interaction is in those states.
Bug Fixes
● Fixed an edge case bug where the drop box could get ‘stuck’ in a highlighted state when combining mouse with touch and keyboard or controller interaction methods.
● Fixed an issue with theme bars not coloring properly when changing the game language in the theme overlay.

SVP pouvez-vous ajouter un bouton « annuler » (undo) ? J’ai un problème de dextérité et il m’arrive souvent d’ « échapper » une lettre au mauvais endroit. Merci.
Great game. But some words aren’t in it’s dictionary, which can be frustrating.
I was completely addicted to WiP for a long time and only recently lost interest. It provided many hours of entertainment and brain stimulation. 😊
The game is fun at first but then the cracks start to show a bit. The user interface is not great and the number of times that I’ve misclicked and messed my whole game up is high. Maybe a one letter undo feature at least would be beneficial. I also find that the letter selection is too much of the same all the time and not enough variety leading to boring games. It has potential but just needs some polishing.
Just try to spell that word every game and it defeats most players. 200+ points if you do it right. Even more for “westernizations”. Regarding undo: rather than confirming each merge, what if you had an option to undo but where you had to request the next tile? If there’s already an unrequested tile, merging again gives you the previously unrequested tile. This would allow a single undo without revealing the next letter and might be less jarring than confirming each merge.
Not a good game. Scores never show up.
I enjoy word games but this was disappointing. Hoped to play with my friend but after a few games it kept saying challenge failed, there are too many open challenges against this opponent. The games showed as finished. Frustration…so we move on to the next app.
J’aime beaucoup le jeu, malheureusement il semble y savoir un problème avec la reconnaissance des mots, comment est-ce possible que le jeu ne reconnaisse pas le mot tête! Et ce n’est qu’un exemple.
This game is in DIRE need of an undo button.
Game looks good but it keeps failing to retrieve my ‘apple authentication data’ :(
Begin with seven letters displayed vertically. Drag a letter to another row to start forming a word. When you move a letter, a new one from your pile fills the empty spot. Submit a valid word by tapping the submit button, and new letters will replace the used ones. In Endless mode, complete challenges to keep your letter pile from running out. In Multiplayer mode, strategize to form longer words for higher points, but beware of incomplete words that could cost you the game. Practice mode is great for learning the mechanics before diving into competitive play.
In Endless mode, your goal is to survive as long as possible by forming words to meet challenges, preventing your letter pile from depleting. In Multiplayer mode, you and your opponent each start with 40 letters. Choose between building long words for big rewards or submitting shorter, safer words to maintain your pile. Practice mode lets you experiment without pressure, helping you refine strategies. The game’s clean interface and multi-language support make it accessible and engaging for players worldwide.
