The answer for your question of “which does not originate in Japan” gives sushi as an incorrect option. Sushi does not originate in Japan, it was introduced to Japan in the 9th century by the Chinese. Certainly Japan is where it’s best known from but for a trivia game/ip it’s odd that they missed some pretty cool trivia. Please fix or omit this question!
Love this game ! Offers great trivia based fun and lots to keep you busy.
Can’t play
This is so much like the tv show but with a few extra components such as earning different experts from all over the world with different achievements etc. it’s fun and gives you plenty of options to get the correct answers
I played this game and made a lot of progress and leveled up quite a bit, got tons of collectibles and then I bought a new iPhone. Now I’ve lost all that progress and have to start over from the beginning and they offer no way to retrieve your progress. I assumed it would be there through iCloud but NOPE! Apple should remove this stupid game from Arcade. I do pay for this service you know. It ain’t free! I want to retrieve all my progress. Think I’ll just cancel Arcade if they’re going to keep filling it with garbage apps like this.
This game could have been a lot better if they had gotten rid of all the F2P mechanics that are unnecessary in a premium trivia game (e.g. sending experts on an "experdition" and having to wait actual hours before they come back). They even ask you if you'd give the game 1-4 stars, or 5 stars, and they don't ask you to rate it on the store if you answer 1-4, resulting in ratings completely biased towards 5 stars. There are annoying bugs such as a missing icon for the currency used to "secure" your latest level's score, or a tutorial that pops up everytime you claim an experdition reward. Next time, instead of doing a simple port to Arcade, it'd be great to see an actual design effort to create a proper premium experience.
This is an ugly, unpleasant trivia game with underwhelming trivia questions and a bunch of “free to play” garbage like loot boxes that didn’t fully get stripped out before it got put on Apple Arcade. Loot boxes and currencies have basically destroyed gaming on iPhone. Apple Arcade is a paid service so the games should be trying to maximize fun, not try to hook you with “free to play” gimmicks that are designed to make a game “addictive” in the worst sense of the word. If a game is “addictive” it should be because the game is that fun, not because people are susceptible to loot boxes.
Game doesn’t load past 0% on the first screen
Just downloaded the game and it won’t even let me get past the loading screen. Just sit dead there.
Game won’t get past loading screen! Is there no quality control at Apple any longer?
