Had this on Gamepass and played it religiously, just fantastic favourite deck-builder of all time
An awesome roguelike experience, with an incredible amount of replayability. One of the best games on the App Store.
Way too many UI issues on this version. I inadvertently play cards all the time while trying to leave the app, or if I change my mind on card choice. It’s very difficult to interact with the bottom of the screen where the cards are due to the iOS interface. They don’t completely ruin the experience but they can definitely ruin a run if you’re not careful. Needs to be addressed. The gameplay is fantastic though, and if they can’t fix it on here, it’s worth trying another platform.
Can't select or drag cards properly at the edge of the screen and text is cut off because of front camera
I’ve got 3k ish hours on PC, 5 hours into the mobile version and I’m about to just stop playing forever. Please play test the interface on literally any phone, because it shows. If you end up playing the card you actually intended to play, kudos.
Enjoyed the game but after playing for half an hour I had eye strain. The fonts are just too small, would love to keep playing but not worth it.
Lots of fun. Battles are quick but exciting. Lots of replay value. Highly recommend this game! Also make sure you try all the characters. Each character is so unique so really can improve your playthrough
The UI is clumsy… I messed up so many runs by accidentally selecting the wrong card (trying to click to read but card gets played) or choosing a wrong reward or prompt when really just trying to get the pop up with info. Really sucks to blow a game after 1h of game play because of UI… no undo button either…
Game may be good, but is unplayable for me on iPhone XR due to small text, even with larger text selected.
Lost my progress, yet the achievements stay the same.?? How could it be possible? I had the forth character unlock, then open the game this morning tho find out it not unlock anymore, yet the game history shows the game I played with the character. I’m really mad and disappointed. Should I keep playing or will I lose my progress again? The game is awesome but really not so great if I keep loosing my progress. Plz help me…
Slay the Spire is a very difficult game. To win the game, you would need skills and luck. Here is the walkthrough of how do I win with the Ironclad in Ascension.

These games offer you fun and engaging experiences that suit your taste. You can find the list of games that you may also like to play below.
Begin by selecting one of four characters: Ironclad, Silent, Defect, or Watcher, each with unique cards and playstyles. Your goal is to ascend the Spire by defeating enemies and bosses across multiple acts. After each battle, choose from card rewards to build your deck, focusing on synergies (e.g., combining poison cards for Silent or strength-scaling attacks for Ironclad). Explore the map, balancing risky paths (elite fights for better rewards) with safer ones (rest sites for healing). Manage resources like health, gold, and energy carefully, and leverage relics to enhance your strategy. Experiment with different builds to adapt to the Spire’s randomness.
Slay the Spire is a turn-based card game where you play cards to attack, defend, or trigger special effects, using a limited energy pool each turn. Each run features a procedurally generated map with encounters like enemies, elites, bosses, shops, and events. Deckbuilding is key—choose cards that synergize (e.g., Ironclad’s strength builds or Defect’s orb manipulation). Relics, found through exploration or combat, provide passive boosts, like increasing max HP or granting extra energy. The game’s difficulty scales with Ascension levels, unlocked after successful runs, adding new challenges. No two runs are identical, offering endless strategic depth.

A:Yes, its turn-based nature and stop-and-start gameplay make it ideal for mobile. However, some users report touch control issues, like small text or card selection difficulties, though the game runs smoothly on devices like iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2.
