This version is SO much fun. I downloaded it to play during my lunch breaks and now I find myself playing at night too 😂 The pace is quick, the visuals are super cute, and it’s way more exciting than I thought it’d be.

Surprisingly beautiful and fun twist on a classic

I didn’t expect to get hooked on UNO Arcade, but here we are. I downloaded it on a whim and now it’s part of my daily chill routine. What really surprised me is how good it looks — the art style is super clean and colorful without being too much. It actually makes the game feel kind of modern and fresh, which I wasn’t expecting from a game like UNO.

I really enjoy this Uno game. You have three options of joining a game, setting up your own game or playing one on one with the computer. It’s fun to throw around the emojis when up play against others. It’s fast and fun. However, I don’t like how long it takes to update your avatar or achieve other elements like borders. I don’t have time to play the game all day. The point system means you practically would have to play all day to achieve new avatars, greetings etc. Maybe make it more attainable and it would be better!

Fun, but uses AI “art”

I do enjoy the gameplay. It’s great to be able to take such a beloved card game on the go, and it’s a fun casual game to play when you have a bit of free time. What I do find unacceptable is the use of AI “art”. Not only does it take work from real people while supporting companies that steal from artists, but it also makes the game look cheap. The “art style” isn’t consistent and it gives the impression that there wasn’t care put into the game. That’s a shame because the game is fun, and the ad campaign is good and attention grabbing as well. I’m not sure if I’ll continue to play after this. Profile customization is significant part of the player experience, and something I personally really enjoy in games, however the use of AI somewhat spoils it for me. TLDR: good game but the use of AI feels lazy and jarring.
