This game is AMAZING! It’s so fun! You get to be a cute dodo and rescue little dodos. There are many obstacles and creatures that you have to watch out for. There are also weekly challenges to do! You can unlock many cute dodos and they have different speeds. Some you unlock once you’ve done a certain level, some you unlock by doing weekly challenges, and some you use the coins you collected in levels to pay. Overall, this is the best game I have.
Wow, this game is amazing! It just made my 3 hour flight pass like nothing, not to mention waiting at the airport!! You can tell whoever made it really paid attention to details. The coconuts falling from the trees and the fish jumping up and down among other things. Beyond the fun, it’s just so beautifully designed. It actually makes me pause and want to look at everything. Really really well done, just hope I don’t run out of levels before they add new ones ;)
I'm addicted to this game! I just got it yesterday and I'm already on level 22 where things really get interesting! The change in scenery is a nice touch and it's so challenging. It really makes you think and tests your reactions. The controls comes natural right of the bat and youre just in the zone. Love the tiny animations throughout. Just a really well designed game and im really enjoying it!
Dodo is a really fun game! Thank you for not making this a freemium game and putting it on Apple Arcade! I feel more invested to mess around with the game and actually beat all the levels! I’m excited to see how far I get! The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay feels natural and perfect for the iPhone’s vertical orientation. I highly recommend this game if you want a relaxing game to play.
Dodo Peak is fantastic! Reminiscent of Q*bert with unique mechanics and charm all its own. I could look at the art style all day, and it’s also one of few mobile games I enjoy playing with the sound on. Haven’t even scratched the surface of the achievements and unlockables yet. 100% worth checking out!
I was impressed by how cool and cute the different levels of the game were. Some levels were very easy and some were more difficult but all extremely fun! I can’t wait to be able to unlock the Disco Dodo fam.
First off the graphics are really modern, etc. but what’s the first thing the app does on first launch? CRASH!!!! As I continued playing the game after interruptions, I noticed the controls are delayed and very poorly designed. The zoom on my IPhone 12 PRO Max I also noticed is really far out so it’s hard to see where you’re going. All in all, -3 stars for first open crashes, poor control, and poor device optimization.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed this game (after a critical iPhone SE bug was fixed). The art is charming and the game runs well overall. The game seems approachable with plenty of room for challenge. The graphics aren’t the most beautiful I’ve seen on mobile, but they’re good enough for modern powerful phones.
Although based on the many excellent reviews, I’m clearly in the minority, I find this game’s controls are infuriatingly bad - unresponsive and fidgety. This makes the game very difficult, but not for the right reasons. I kept the game on my phone for about a month and kept returning to it in hopes I would find the issues resulted from poor skill on my end, and that improving my skill would improve my experience. It did not. I can not recommend this game.
This is a great little game to play when you Don’t have a lot of time for a sprawling RPG or an intense action game. The game looks and plays just like the hit mobile title “Crossy Road”, so if you enjoy that game, you’ll love this one. Dodo yourself a favor and give this game a try!
