I have heard about this game but never played it. Now I know why it is such a hit with children. Lots of fun even though I am an adult. I am updating this review because I just got a xbox controller for my macbook so I could have more fun playing the apple arcade games. I am keeping my orginal review as 5 stars because I don't know if my issue, with my xbox controller, is an issue with my controller or this game. But about 10% of the time my "A" button doesn't work and I can't jump. It really makes the game really annoying becuase I much rather play with the controller then my keyboard. Other then this issue I still love this game.

I’m travelling in London with girl guides and every time we’re on the tube or waiting for something I will pull out my phone and play temple run. My friends think I’m obsessed but I’m just devoted
Swiping has no effect on iPad, so it’s into the water at the first corner.
No difference to the regular one, love it
Playing on a 2017 MacBook Pro, I'm getting a lot of distracting screen tearing during runs that I think would be fixed if there was a graphical option to enable vsync (or hard-coding it to be always enabled). Otherwise, glad to see this classic in Apple Arcade.
It’s a decade old game and it plays like one. They have not enhanced any of the core gameplay or graphics, so there’s very little new here
the original version you swiped left/right to move to the sides when running. in this version you tile the phone, and there’s NO way to change it. makes the game unplayable for many who can’t hold the phone straight. it’s an accessibility issue
The game accelerates much quicker than the original one. Money chases the runner much longer. Control is not accurate. Swiping left/right often recognize as swiping down. The intentional delay between swiping up and down makes the runner easy to die. Making the game harder won’t keep us to play it.
