As always, thank you for playing Puzzle & Dragons Story.
Here are some screenshots of the game.
Been playing Puzzle and Dragon games in some form since about 2013 and this is a great version of the same formula. Same great game play without the microtransactions. There are obviously less monsters to collect and I’d say that it doesn’t have as much content as the DS games. All that being said, it’s a full Puzzle and Dragon’s game with a story mode and special dungeons and that’s all I can ask for. The art is still fantastic, the monsters they chose are cool and have a couple of my favourites mixed in with classics and the gameplay is just as crisp and satisfying as it’s always been. Above all, the game still has some of the best music on the App Store. I’ve never played this game on mute because half the experince from me is the music. It’s been a couple years since I played one of these and this games version of the menu theme brought me right back to 2nd year of university. Seriously if you aren’t playing with sound you are missing out. 10/10, a great single player whole game version of the classic franchise with everything you could ask for. If they put out a sequel I would get that in a heart beat.
Match threes can feel really redundant. The aspect of a free moving crystal plus the different types of team optimization makes this game really enjoyable. You you can’t advance with the same static team and need to adjust to what bosses you will be presented with. My kids and I are loving it. I am currently stuck but feel that it’s just another puzzle to crack on the right combo of characters.
Be aware that the game forces you to follow each step of the tutorial for quite a while. No option to go to the menu to change the settings (like to turn off the sound) until you complete several levels. Not a great start.
Super casual version of the original game - a good break from the hyper damage inflation from the original. Feels like a nice casual back-to-basics version of PAD and I love that! Give it a try if you are tired of the original and having to keep up with the meta.
Fun mechanics nerver seen beforme of any match3 i played, the graphics sound track and animation remember me lots of old classic games that i loved. I hope this game give some challenge. Because for now its verry easy. Well see

Begin your adventure in Puzzle & Dragons Story by selecting your starter team of creatures. The tutorial guides you through the basics of match-3 puzzle gameplay. Match 3 or more Orbs of the same color vertically or horizontally to attack enemies. Focus on learning elemental strengths and weaknesses, such as Fire (Red) being weak to Water (Blue), to maximize damage.
Explore dungeons to collect materials and create new allied creatures. Each creature has unique abilities, ranging from cute to ferocious dragons. Form teams that synergize well, balancing elemental attributes and abilities to tackle challenging dungeons.
To deal massive damage, chain together combos by matching multiple sets of Orbs in a single move. Matching 5 or more Orbs increases attack power and can hit multiple enemies. Practice orb movement to create exhilarating combos and unleash powerful attacks.
Engage in match-3 puzzle battles where matching Orbs commands your creatures to attack. Each creature’s attack corresponds to the Orb’s color and element. Strategic matching, considering elemental weaknesses, is key to defeating fearsome enemies.
Navigate through a variety of dungeons filled with unique creatures and challenges. Collect materials to craft new allies and strengthen your team. Each dungeon offers a unique story and rewards, enhancing your adventure.
