I love this game! The cats are adorable and especially great for me since I’m allergic to cats. I love buying them new things, laughing at their character traits, taking photos, and staring at their adorableness. However, unless you really, really love staring at cats and taking the same pictures over and over again, there’s not much to do. You can check in once in a while for about ten minutes, although with purchases and scrolling and such it could last you longer. It’s not something to pass the time, and, honestly, you don’t have to do anything. It’s very casual. These aren’t complaints although adding things like playing with the cats would be nice. I also wish you could go inside the house! There would be so much more room for goodies. The video is deceiving, this does not allow you inside. However highly recommend this game! Very relaxing and cute.
I think this is an overall great game and the cats are adorable. The graphics are really simple; it’s like a handwritten kind of style. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes dogs or cats. I had read some reviews and then I realized a review rated second most helpful said that this was the same as the original. This version is not the same as the original, it has new cats and goodies. I’m not sure why people would think that’s helpful because it’s wrong. I downloaded the non Apple Arcade version before this was released so I know what it’s like. When I got this one, I realized this has more cats and goodies. I just wanted to let everyone know so that they don’t miss out, and although it’s a monthly subscription, it is worth it. I've been enjoying this this game nearly every day for well more than five years, both in this pay-to-play version and its free predecessor. I love collecting "photos" of cute cats doing cute things, and the exhilaration felt when catching a rare cat in a rare pose. There is never a sense of urgency, nor not so subtle "encouragements" to spend real money on temporary game enhancements or "only available to purchase for a limited time" items. Nor are there any infuriating ads which interrupt game play. In fact, my only real disappointment is that this monthly subscription version has only added ONE new cat to the game, and it's a speciality/personality cat. I would really like to see more regular cats added. How about introducing long-hair cats? Or Maine Coons? Manxes? Bengal cats? Various other breeds. And while it might be too complex for such a simple game, KITTENS would be an adorable addition, if it could be accomplished. I DO wish that the system for accessing items to decorate the habitat was less clunky. It's such a pain to have to scroll through upwards of (currently) 35 pages just to find a specific item, or find the new items added to the game each month. Whether or not any of MY desired changes are made, I will continue to enjoy Neko Atsume Kitty Collector+ for the foreseeable future.
Ok so first of all this game is soooooooo cute! But it needs more I feel like it’s missing something. I was thinking what if u add in mini games while you wait for the cats. And in the mini games you can earn fish! So I do think that this could be a good relaxing game. But it gets boring sometimes. I was also thinking you could play with the cats when they come. Like one of those games where you can pet the cat and feed it treats and play games with it. So I say update the game and use some of these ideas! Because I think some of the people aren’t liking this game… so start updating now make special events or something. I don’t mind if you use my ideas so good luck on this game it could be better with these ideas!
The games very adorable, as most the reviews will tell you. It’s got a simple pixelated style and some adorable animations too. — Note though: while this game is very fun, it’s not actively interactive. It has a lot more idle play, like actually idling, than minigames or something. You just fill up the bowl, take pictures of cats you haven’t seen before, and collect the idle earnings since the last time you logged in, maybe by a new toy or food if you’ve got enough. — there’s something beautiful about that though. No ads. Actual idle gameplay. I’m excited to log in and see if something new is there, and just as happy to see a silly cat in a box or something. There’s no real way to speed up your progression other than being steadfast, and I think that’s kind of perfect for the game.
I obsessively played the original game years ago and was delighted to see there was an Apple Arcade version. The problem is, there’s no way to buy fish. So I just have to wait, and wait, and wait. Maybe I don’t have to wait as long as I would have in the original? IDK because I always bought fish when I got bored or frustrated. My original game has tens of thousands of silver fish and hundreds of gold fish, as over time the game sort of runs itself as long as you keep putting food out. But it takes forever to get to that point! I just wish there was a way to either buy or earn fish.
I have been playing this game since late 2015, and I’ve had lots of fun over the years and introduced others to the game. Once the free version stopped receiving updates, I lost interest. I decided to download the Apple Arcade version since it’s still supported, but I was disappointed to learn I could not transfer my data from my original game. I’ve spent hundreds of hours on this game, and I know it would not be especially challenging to allow for data transfers so that I, and many players like me, could enjoy the efforts we made over the past 7 (yes, 7!) to earn fish and build out our yards with goodies. Please take this step, and you’ll have many happy players!
I love this game. I think it’s cute and adorable. But I feel like this game should have some mini games where you can earn fish (because the cats are cheapos lol). Also the video is really wrong. We can’t go inside. Either add more rooms, or change the video. I bought this game because of the video. Also I think that you should be able to set it so cats don’t come at certain times. Because it’s happened before that rare cats will come to my yard, AND IM ALSEEP. This is really annoying. Also, please add more toys. Sincerely, Someone who can’t have their phone after nine pm.
I have seen many comments saying bad things about the game, but that is not the case the game is great and it keeps you from playing for long amounts of time. I have also seen a comment saying that there is no inside area but there is, if you go to the very end of the shop (Goodies) you will see yard expansion if you buy that you will get some inside space. And also the apple version gives you more golden fish than the original game. I really enjoy playing this game and hope you enjoy it too.
If you love cats this is a great game for you! I have no ads, but you can take care of cats, and they give you fish! I don’t think anything could be changed to fix this amazingly fun, and cute game. So many cute cats come! They make funny faces, like when they’re in the bucket. I enjoy this soooo much. I think you should make more games like this one. I love the music, cats and items. A couple weeks ago, I found new items! The cats adore the new toys. Honestly, I think it’s really amazing, and it’s a daily thing! Such an awesome game!
