Multiple fixes for controllers and saving of game data
Here are some screenshots of the game.
This is better described as an interactive piece of art than a game. It’s beautiful visually, the music and subtle sound effects enhance it a lot. Best played in a quiet, dark room with headphones. Gameplay itself is just ok. It’s enough to keep you engaged but little more. None of it was truly difficult, I only got really stuck once because I failed to notice a floor I could break through. A lot of it is just walking through long areas with only one choice of where to go. That’s not always bad, it’s beautiful and I often found myself slowing down just to admire the artwork. The puzzles are fun but I would have enjoyed a few more. There are extra achievements you can complete but I find them poorly done. The only hints you get about what needs to be done is their name. You’ll only know you’ve missed one when you complete the next. And you can’t go back. I’m not going to play the game 5 times just to find those. Looking them up online is no fun either. I will probably play it again because it’s so beautiful but just ignore the achievements. The really bad part is the save bug. Plenty of reviews mention it. I stopped playing in the very final section (wish I had known it was) and when I went to resume, my character was stuck inside a wall. No way out but to start a new game from the beginning. It’s quite frustrating. It can apparently happen elsewhere too.
Wow, what a well-balanced game! You know I loved it when I played it in one day. This is the best game I've played in a long while. The music, story and graphics and the weaving of the three made for a wonderful experience. The details were stunning and deeply moving. I would have also loved some sort of backstory with each memento but also appreciated the abstract storytelling of grief. Chapters 1-3 were my favourite. The game was the perfect amount of challenging to not take away from the flow of the story and reflect the life struggle of passing through grief's stages. I also LOVED the game didn't have any character death - there are enough out there like that. I hope you make more games like this with your team's creative talent. Well done!
I love games like this - fairly easy with low stakes but incredibly captivating. The art is beautiful and the score out of this world. It’s a calming game, filled with optimism. With the current version, I didn’t experience any bugs :) Thank you!
I love the game and the graphics I’m in love with it But I have been getting frustrated. The levels are super sensitive and I get really mad when I fall of the same ledge 20 times in a row.
I’d love to give this game a 5. I realize there needs to be a level of challenge in order for it to be fun. Unfortunately the iPad jump-fly (double tap) makes this game to difficult to be fun. It’s behaviour is just too inconsistent.
Not an easy game, but not too difficult either. And no doubt, it's really beautiful. Touch controls on the iPad ended up being quite fine for me. I appreciated that the dots to collect to complete the game aren't much difficult to find (the bonus ones are though).
When I stop playing, I never know if I’ll be able to continue next time. I literally get stuck inside the walls and there is no escape. Or I load the game and suddenly I’m falling… forever. So I restart the game from scratch hoping I won’t stop at a “bad moment.” I’ve restarted four or five times now. I’m getting really good with the beginning, but I’d really like to see it to the end.
Enjoyed the red colour sequence best. Slightly frustrating at the end, but worth the playthrough.
If anyone is experiencing the unresponsive controls issue, the only way to fix the bug is to start a new game. It occurs when you quit the app in the middle of or immediately after a cutscene. I hope they fix it.
I enjoyed this game all the way through. It was relaxing but also had some challenges. And that ending. Pure goosebumps.
