Game is good. Could use some work though

This game is great. I loved almost all of it... up to the badminton. I felt that that gameplay just wasn’t as fun. There wasn’t as much humor and I wasn’t really looking for a skill game in this but it’s ok there’s only like one level and it’s a funny storyline. The world war is the only other thing I have to complain about. The AI has way to much power, what with the grenade throwing. Maybe just lower there aim and speed a little? And the fact that if you kill the dude and then his grenade hits you second by like, 0.5 seconds he gets to advance is quite annoying. However, I played through it, and other then those two parts, it’s really fun, even the war one when you get the hang of it. So in other words, just a few touch ups and it’s a 5 star game.

Cricket is my favorite game whoever made it thank you I love it. I wish I could give this a five but this game can get pretty annoying also I I think the war part could get some fixing. Why are you ask well I feel like the enemy team when you’re playing solo gets a lot of power🇩🇪. Whoever made this game please make it easier in the war part. However me and my brother love this game And I am happy for whoever made this game I really wish I could give this a five but I have to say I’m gonna do a four. So goodbye also this was made in 2022 to June 3. So goodbye and people who do not like violence I don’t think you should play this game now goodbye🇺🇸💓🇺🇸💓🇺🇸💓

I really like this game but…

I really enjoy this game but it needs just one thing to change. One day I finished all of the levels and I felt super proud but then a day later when i went to play the game all my levels were gone! And I was super embarrassed because I told all my friends that i had got all the levels! 🫣 And thats how i lost 2 friends and 6+ levels…Other than that the game is really enjoyable!! I love this game, one suggestion

This game is a lot of fun. it’s a goofy game to play by yourself or with friends, and it’s easy to pick up and there’s actually a little bit of fun strategy to learn, and I love all the new game modes that have been added. One of my favorites is Ultra Cricket because it feels completely randomized and so it never gets boring. it’s my favorite to play with friends. One suggestion that I have for a new potential game mode is a custom mode where you can set each player’s item, the gravity, player size, etc. I think this would be very fun to mess around with.

Fun until 1939

While the mechanics aren’t always totally obvious, the ability to just grind through keeps things going and fun until 1939. At that point, all the joy is sucked out of the game (at least while playing single player). I’ve spent hours on both an iPhone and an Apple TV trying to get past the final round on this level to no avail. The AI can magically throw grenades instantly and almost always as a head shot; it spawns right next to me, allowing it to charge forward when I spawn off screen and have to make up ground. Etc. I feel _very_ weird getting this bent out of shape over such a silly game full of fantastic non sequitur and humor. But it gets in my craw because the enjoyment went from 100 to almost zero nearly instantaneously.

This game is hilarious! I must say It is the funnest game I’ve ever played. I have many Apple Arcade game and this is the only one I want to play. It is funny and kind of stupid which I like but the same time it is challenging. This game is not for everyone but I like games that are silly but not to silly and cricket through the ages is exactly that. If you are not in to funny games then maybe it is not for you. But I love it and when I play it I can’t stop laughing. I can promise you one thing you will have a fun time playing this game. One last thing: good job developers 😀👍🏻👍🏻🤣🤣👏👏

PLSDEV READ THIS

Um this is one of my fav games (if u say it’s impossible ur probably not trying hard enough cuz I beat the game no prob sorry if I sound rude I’m just having a bad day) but I have one problem. I beat the game, I just didn’t unlock freestyle mode or ultr cricket, which is sad because I really wanted to play it. Pls tell me how to unlock it. Do I have to unlock every achievement or get a perfect score on game of Olympus ( which I tried for an hour, couldn’t do it)? Because I don’t know, and I’m running out of ideas. Pls. I love this game, and wanna unlock these new modes.

Barely get the chance to hit

I love this game and it’s great but you always have to throw the ball to the other person. If someone throws the ball and you miss it you don’t get a redo, but if the computer doesn’t make the shot it gets a redo game is unfair and impartial at times. If someone hits you with a ball 1 second after you hit them they get the point. The game is very short and fun and I enjoyed it but it was frustrating at times so please fix these things and I think many people would enjoy it more. Please make aiming easier

The reason for the hate

If you look at the reviews there will be a lot of hate. The two reasons for this are 1. People say certain levels are unbeatable but they just need to try harder, and I know this because I personally have beat the game. 2. They say the title is misleading but if you just play far enough you actually get the the cricket. Also someone said it does not save but there are savepoints at certain points in between levels. This game is hard at some points, but still very fun and you just have to push through.

Awesome

When I first started subscribing to Apple Arcade this was literally the first game I played. This is also one of my favorite games on the App Store. I know people complain about the world war and other sections but they just need to try harder. It’s not a game when you have no challenge at all. Though you should put in easy, medium, and hard options so these people will stop whining about a level. Forget about those guys this game is a must have. It’s just a funny game that is kinda based on cricket. And yes there will be some cricket in there at some point.

The final update is Devolver Digital's Cricket Through the Ages getting its first update in about a year. The update notes mention this...
