Unpacking+ is the premium version of the critically acclaimed zen puzzle game Unpacking, available through the Apple Arcade service. It combines domestic organization with "environmental storytelling," allowing you to learn about a character's life simply by handling their possessions. Core Gameplay Mechanics The game is split into various stages, each representing a different year and a new living space (ranging from a childhood bedroom to a first apartment and beyond). The Loop: You open boxes and find a place for every item within the room. The Puzzle: While much of the placement is freeform, certain items have "correct" logical homes. If an item is in an invalid spot (like a toaster on a bed), it will glow red, and you must move it to progress. No Pressure: There are no timers, scores, or fail states. The focus is entirely on the tactile satisfaction of organizing.
