So far so fun, but with a couple of things

I have only played a few games, but I love the gameplay. Plays like a board game (like it show) and has a leveling system and unlocks in a way that keeps things interesting. I am only writing this so early because I found some things that were causing me problems. I am using a 2019 Macbook Pro with a magic mouse. The magic mouse doesn't seem to want to register clicks in game (the touchpad worked just fine, but it caused me to miss click a couple times) Which leads me to the second thing that isn't game breaking or anything, but annoying in some ways. One of the misclicks that I had caused me to baracade me in a room. Which would be fine if I could destroy my own baracades. It caused a few rounds of waiting while the enemies grew and destroyed the door. Again, not game breaking and I was able to get out of the situation with too much difficulty, but it was a situation where it caused a lot of waiting. TL;DR I haven't played much yet, but there are a couple of "issues" 1. Magic mouse support is iffy. 2. If you accidentally baracade yourself in a room, you wil be stuck waiting until an enemy can destroy the baracade. I will update my review as I play.

Fun at First

It was fun at first but it's very repetitive. Your first several searches result in garbage items, then you get better weapons, stop running from the monsters and fight them. Sometimes the odds on the dice seem a bit off. Some turns all 4 characters will roll under a 4.

AWESOME

I am loving this game, runs fantastic, great graphics, great gameplay, solid iCloud sync -- its games like this that keep my Arcade subscription going!

Great game but...

...this was released too soon. The game itself is lots of fun. Turn-based play with challenging procedural maps. The support folks seem overwhelmed. I got a response for the first bug I reported but there are a lot more bugs that make the game unplayable or ruin the fun. • Can't move the camera on macOS Catalina 10.15.4. • If you restore a game in progress weird stuff happens. Game freezes after 1 or 2 turns. Searching will sometimes find weapons in cursed rooms: it never used to. Searching in a purged room will get into a mode where the cards vanish quiet with no artifacts found or message. • Kid using his extra trade action (A) it is only extra after his action count reaches 0. If he does it sooner it counts as a regular trade. When he does use it at the end of his turn the count goes to -1. Despite these serious flaws the game has been fun. I hope the problems can be fixed quickly.

Needlessly ugly

Maybe this is the asthetic the developer was going for. If you wish that Stranger Things was made into the ugliest tabletop game ever, than this is for you.

TOO fat

No way this game should tax the processor, and video for the graphics involved. Unplayable on my Macbook Pro 2.7 quad core i7, with 16 GB, and Nvidia 1GB video.
