Thank you for playing Solitaire by MobilityWare+! And thank you for reporting issues you've encountered. This update includes bug fixes for stability problems reported by players.
Here are some screenshots of the game.
Lol I am TOTALLY addicted to this Solitare game now. They make the games just hard enough to keep you coming back for more. The more you play, the higher your rank is. And they have daily challenges which makes it even more fun. I mean, just moving the cards around over and over can get tedious so having an actual goal is really fun. For example, one challenge was to move the four of spades into the foundation pile before you made it through the card stack. That may sound easy but it can be tough. Especially when you’re dealt a crap hand. And I like it that they don’t always deal you winning hands. Keeps it interesting. And if you get stuck there are helpful hints along the way. This game has made me a better player and has improved my thinking process. So if you’re looking for a game that is fun yet challenging you need to get this one. Oh, and it’s free. No ads. Other than the small banner at the bottom of your screen which I don’t mind.
Overall it’s solitaire and their implementation is fun. You can modify the parameters to how many winnable games you get in the mix and whether to deal 1 or 3. Bonus hint: if you have multiple devices it will sync your score but it won’t sync the goals or bonuses for first win, every fifth, etc. so if your goal is to advance rapidly just play on several devices per day. The latest update, though, has some big lags in the gameplay that wasn’t there before. When you tap on a card it will sometimes not be responsive for nearly a second before it’ll do something. Most of the time it’s just once but when there are several of those in a row it takes away from the fun.
I love this version of the classic game. It features all the elements I want including full random deal, on screen scoring, ability to skip the silly winning video rewards unless there is a fun one I like. I enjoy selecting card fronts, back and table color that is easier for me to see. I’d have gone five star except: I hate the auto finish screen when a game is won: I do all the work and with one card left your auto finish pops in to diminish my satisfaction at the win! Eliminated screen is no hardship as auto finish is still available via bottom button. Fix This Issue and I will re-review. Now I’m PO’d. Ten try’s to add a nickname-all taken! You pick then! Can’t send submission without one!
This solitaire is a lot of fun and super addicting. You can change the settings to determine how often you’re given a winning hand, which is really nice. Also, the daily challenge is cool and keeps me coming back. I also like being able to change the background pictures and card designs. My only complaint (which is hardly a complaint), is that you can only have one custom background at a time. I wish I could import multiple photos and switch between them at will instead of having to search through my photo album anytime I want a change.
I have played and enjoyed Solitaire on personal computers for many years now, since around the time I was still in grade-school in fact. I can say with confidence and certainty that this is a wonderful translation of those programs to the smaller screen of the modern cellular phone. The options to change the backgrounds, card face designs, etc. is not necessary but it is most welcome and much appreciated feature. For a free game from Apple Arcade, this is much better than it needs to be. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend it!
I hate all of Mobility’s games , they ruin all the classic games Horrible support and game play . You start have fun at but then Mobilty being the brain dead developers they are throw a hitch in the game to that makes common sense seem a lost cause then Mobility claims that as being skill . Insanity has never been a SKILL but they paid high bucks too Apple too and Apple has turn into spineless cowards where developers are concerned. Why is it there is no ratings for Apple Arcade? They don’t even have a real support just like the App Store in general but yet we have to pay for junk games like this to avoid ads which should not be a issue if Apple care at all for it’s customers who buy there high priced devices! REMEMBER WHEN WE COULD BE PROUD TO OWN A APPLE PRODUCTS? Now we are just blind suckers! I put this on a T-Shirt that is selling like mad from my website!
First off, I love this solitaire game. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay is smooth. The animations and silly titles you earn as you beat levels are whimsical and fun. I’m only deducting a star because the events could be better. It seems like each level of the events is a random challenge. It would be more fun to me if they increased in difficulty as you progress towards the end of the challenge. Most of the levels are too easy and I speed through the events too quickly. I do enjoy the new jigsaw puzzles tho—very cute and satisfying to piece together as I win games. :)
Loves this game up until a few weeks ago. May have been around the iOS 15 release, but I honestly think it happened before then. Here’s what I’m seeing: When I first got this game I could easily speed through a hand. Responsiveness was great! Lately, however, there seems to be a lag happening with the game. I’ll press on the deck and nothing, so I press again and the next thing I know two cards flip. There’s a good 1-2 second delay. It’s extremely frustrating! I’ll bump this back to a five if they can get this fixed. I love the daily challenges, the multiplayer is ok too. But the lag when playing is horrible!! I’ve tried rebooting my phone, making sure all other apps are closed, etc. doesn’t fix it. 😡
The BUT is the fact that “ unwinnable” games are included. You can’t win them but it will add to your losing streak. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE?? They have an option to only include deals that can be won, but why include “unwinnable” games to begin with? In the game they call them “random deals” It’s like you guys are supporting mental illness by triggering people, stressing them out, and other mix of emotions. It would be unfortunate if someone sued you guys for “emotional damages” because there is a case there. People play this game for a challenge & to relax & a myriad of other reasons. An unwinnable game is the same as going into a boxing ring with your hands tied. You’re destined to lose from the start.
The number of statistically rare combinations of the initial 7 cards shows their programming is anything but random. Statistically speaking, I should only get a 4 of a kind in the ‘flop’ .16 percent of the time, meaning out of every 2000 deals the initial cards face up should only show 4 of a kind about 3 times. I get 4 of a kind and full houses in the ‘flop’ quite often which is statistically impossible for a random deal. This combined with the ability to consistently win more rounds than you should in Vegas scoring means that their ‘random’ deals are anything but and after playing for some time it becomes obvious that your deals are curated as you win one then get 2-9 loosing deals. That cycle continues relentlessly.
