We're here to announce the FINAL update to SP!NG. That's right we're finishing up regular support for the game but we're going out with a bang. We've added so many new levels and an endless mode which means you'll never be able to finish the game. {insert evil designer laugh here}
We're proud of the game we've made and now with over 1400 levels we think it's time to put a fork in it.
Thank you for playing and all the wondering messages about SP!NG. We hope you enjoyed the journey as much as we enjoyed making all the levels.
If you want to support us just tell more of your friends to play SP!NG and check out SMG's other games.
What's new in this update:
* New Endless Mode! How long can you survive? Never-ending, procedurally generated levels to test your patience, dexterity and endurance.
* 90 yes 90 new RUSH levels to rush through and then ask us for more! But there is no more this is the final update.
* Hone your skills with 3 NEW Play Perfect chapters. That's 54 meticulously designed levels awaiting your precision and finesse.

Here are some screenshots of the game.
I want to preface this by saying I completely love this game in every way I’ve completed the main story three times with all jewels. I think it is a masterpiece and marvel of modern game site. On the other hand I would love more save files, I have completed this game so many times I’ve maxed out the same files and would love more so I don’t need to delete my old ones. Another thing that would be helpful is maybe lowering the difficulty ramp in the one chance mode. I think it’s just a bit too quick of a spike and would love a few more one chance levels too, the one chance mode is not my favorite. Also I noticed that sometimes while you are swinging and you bounce off a wall it will change direction but other times while you were swinging it just rubs against the wall, I assume this is a purposeful design choice but sometimes it just does not feel right. Thank you for creating such an amazing game, I loved thumb drift too. And I think you’re an amazing game developer!
I’ve played dozens of Apple Arcade games, and I’d rank this among my top 3. An absolutely beautiful game, at the same time stress-relieving but engaging. The environments are all gorgeous, and I love that you are able to customize each level with your favorite. Would love to see more environments in the future, but I can tell a lot of time and effort was put into these, so that may be difficult. I also appreciate that even though this is a one button game, the devs included controller support. A huge bonus for me as I often prefer sitting back on the couch and playing without having to hold my iPad. The only other improvement I’d ask for would be to try to get the iPad Pro version to be able to run at 120fps, I’m pretty sure it’s running at 60fps as of writing. Not sure if this is an engine limitation or if it just needs some optimization, but that would be the icing on the cake. Hope to see more from these devs in the future!
This is my first and probably the only app review I will write on the App Store. This game is incredible and addicting, making it the best game available on the App Store. I have completed every level with 3 stars as soon as they release them. It is so much fun to play and is designed very well. I can’t recommend this game enough. The only downsides are the quick battery drain and the levels are too easy to complete. I find myself finishing the levels fairly quick, leaving me waiting months for them to release more levels. Hopefully they release more levels soon and it doesn’t take months like this most recent update did. I also hope they create more levels similar to “The Lab Experts Only” that are more difficult and challenging, because in my opinion the levels that are near impossible to complete with 3 stars are the most fun. But overall, it is a great game and I’d give more than 5 stars if possible.
So recently, I was going through my old games I had played years ago, and downloaded “One More Line”, a game that operates with similar functionality in an endless dash, and I had a lot of fun with it. When I saw this game, it immediately reminded me of that and I was happy to see it was by the same developer! I loved that game and now after about a week of playing, I love this one too! It’s incredibly simple yet incredibly fun, and I think also has some really great innovation to the puzzle design. Just when you think you’ve seen everything the game has to throw at you, they find a way to use the mechanics you have already mastered in a new way that proves challenging and fun every time! Absolutely love this and I also love the added touch of each different theme having it’s own soundtrack! Really fun way to give the player the ability to change the mood of the game! Also love all the different game modes, so if I want something fast and challenging, I can play Rush; if I want to have to think about my moves and learn through trial and error, Classic is the way to go; and if I just want to enjoy the beauty of the game, I choose Zen. I’m about 400 stars into the game so I still have plenty more to explore and I’m excited to see what’s in store! Thanks so much for the great game!
I didn’t think it was possible, as months ago I played this game quite frequently, but I got stuck at level 146, where after perhaps 100+ attempts, I could not complete the level with 3 stars. At that point, I had enough and so I deleted the game. Fast forward to today, where I decided to re-download the game, and after maybe a dozen attempts, I was finally able to complete level 146 with 3 stars!!! 👍 Great to see that the developer added more levels since the game was initially released. So I now have a renewed interest to move beyond level 146 and keep playing. It feels good to be playing this game after a long hiatus, as I love the game’s built-in music soundtrack, and it is a fun game to play, although it still is quite challenging!
this game is magical. i’ve never left a review on the app store before, but i can’t stop thinking about how amazing this game is when i play it. i loooove that none of the levels are impossible, but they’re challenging; it’s a perfect balance of challenging and soothing. it’s the only reason i have apple arcade right now. i especially love that you can play any level at anytime, so you don’t have to just give up the game if you get stuck on a level. they split up the very hard ones into their own chapters, which i really like as well. it’s a really enjoyable game of rhythm and timing. the background and avatars are BEAUTIFUL and dreamy. there’s a theme for everyone and it’s fun to unlock them as you go and see what’s next. i only hope they continue to add new levels and update the avatars.
Okay so I’ve played a lot of mobile games and when I mean a lot I mean it my phone is filled to the brim of mobile games that I’ve played, even on my friends phones I’ve played some others. But SP!NG is top number 3. It’s amazing it has no ads,Incredibly smooth, and has more and more new updates! I played this game on a 5 hour plane ride and I didn’t exit out. It has so many characters,levels, and different things what I mean by things is like different zones? The different zones are like Classic,Zen,The lad,The lost levels,One chance/life,Hyper. You can also compete with other players to get first on a leaderboard! Overall It’s an amazing game. And if a chance that someone is reading this YOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD IT!!!😁😁
Overall, this is a game that’s worthy of your download and time. Solid physics, fluid visuals and quality sounds effect + score. That being said, I was super bummed to discover that this game has zero haptics. I read another review where one of the devs explained they had incorporated it, initially, until it began to cause unforeseen consequences and this is truly a shame. I know the team says they’d like to add it back at some point so I just want to say I REALLY hope you take this serious and figure out a way to make this work because this is the type of game where haptic response really shines and adds a lot to the total experience. Other than that, I’m really digging the game so far (chapter 9 or 10 atm), thanks for the hard work!
So hear me out about this review title: As I was working my way to the point where I could write this I was thinking about all the things I liked about this game. First and foremost is the degree to which I was hooked from the first round. The simplicity of the control. The clarity of purpose. The gentle visual prompts. The fact that ‘failure’ doesn’t feel so much like failure as much as it does “Oh, I see. Just do this instead.” Might take a couple of tries, but positive reinforcement is emphasized over negative reinforcement. Success feels good and failure isn’t the end of the world. Then I got to its entry in Arcade and start reading the copy. I’m not sure I’ve ever actually experienced this before, but it’s actually accurate! The words they use to describe the game actually corresponds to the experience of playing it. So yeah. I’m hooked. After a year, there’s finally a second game on Arcade I love (rather than ‘it’s ok’). If (and only if) you enjoy physics-based (flying, spinning, running, jumping) type games, I’d highly recommend it. It’s not for everyone because nothing is. But if it is your type of thing, give it a try. You’ll feel better after.
I’ve collected every star in the game and after that I don’t even have every skin, meaning they will remain locked until more levels are added. This has locked me out of multiple achievements. The most annoying bug outside of Hyper mode (which I’ll get to later) is the haptics having a strange delay and sometimes not working at all. Hyper mode is fun, but feels very cheaply made. The physics updates appear to be the same, meaning there is a constant lag that you just have to deal with. Sometimes strings will fling you very far in a direction for no reason. Half the levels are reused from other modes. It just feels really cheap for a game made for a premium service. Overall, the game is great if you’re looking to pass time and want a challenge.
